The American Dental Association recommends visiting the dentist at least twice a year for routine cleanings and exams. However, some patients with gum disease or other oral health concerns may need more frequent visits. During your appointment, our team will recommend a schedule tailored to your specific needs.
Professional teeth whitening is generally well-tolerated. Some patients experience mild, temporary sensitivity during or after the treatment, but this typically resolves within a day or two. We use advanced whitening systems with built-in desensitizers to minimize discomfort and ensure a comfortable experience.
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as artificial tooth roots. Once integrated with the bone, they provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. Implants are the gold standard for replacing missing teeth and can last a lifetime with proper care.
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 10 to 15 years or longer. To maximize their lifespan, maintain excellent oral hygiene, avoid biting hard objects like ice or pen caps, and wear a nightguard if you grind your teeth. Regular dental check-ups help us monitor your veneers and catch any issues early.
Yes, we understand that dental emergencies can happen at any time. We reserve appointment slots for urgent cases and do our best to see emergency patients the same day. If you are experiencing severe pain, swelling, a knocked-out tooth, or a broken restoration, please call our office immediately at (714) 374-8800.
We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans. Our knowledgeable front office team will verify your benefits and help you understand your coverage before treatment begins. We also offer flexible payment options including cash, credit cards, debit cards, and third-party financing for patients without insurance.
Stay calm and call our office right away at (714) 374-8800. For a knocked-out tooth, gently rinse it without scrubbing, try to place it back in the socket, or keep it in milk while you come in. For severe pain or swelling, apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek. Avoid aspirin directly on gums. We will guide you through the next steps over the phone.
